The seats have been designed with ergonomics in mind, so you and all your passengers can stay comfortable how ever long the journey.  Inside, there is plenty of room for you and all of your passengers and luggage.

Choose from 2 engines: the 2.4L 4 cylinder MiVEC engine provides economical performance with 125kW power and 226Nm of torque.  Available in 5 speed manual, or CVT automatic.  Or there's the powerful 3.0L V6 MiVEC for superior performance providing 162kW power and 276Nm torque.  Available in 6 speed automatic with Smart Logic.

VR

Outlander range is fitted with dual front SRS airbags, with side and curtain airbags available across the range.  The vehicle shell is manufactured using Mitsubishi's Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body design system, it is a highly rigid one piece shell.  The superior strength will cocoon your family and provide outstanding protection in the event of an accident.

VRX

Standard safety features across the range include Active Stability Control, Active Traction Control, side impact door beams, Anti-Lock Braking (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD), 3 child restraint anchorage points, and child proof rear door locks.

Outlander offers the option of a third row seat - which means that you can comfortably seat up to seven passengers.

Loading up just got a whole lot easier.  A strong and convenient fold-down tailgate gives a lower load-in height so bulky items fit and slide in more easily.

XLS/RX

The Outlander features unique, electronic roll-and-tumble seats- which roll forward to create vast interior space.  This makes it incredibly easy to throw in large items like bikes, prams, surfboards, bulky packages, or luggage - all with the flick of a switch.  In fact, once the seats are folded back, there's a massive 1961 litres of storage volume.
